- Preparation of annual action financial statement relating to capital expenditure.
- Drafting the budget speech of the Hon. Chief Minister
- Drafting the policy statement of the Hon. Governor
- Preparation of the capital expenditure estimate under the provincial specific development grants and criteria based funds for the 5 ministries and other departments and establishments.
- Identification of development potentials of the province and preparation of reports required by local and foreign fund granting organizations and thereby raising funds.
- Direction of annual action plans of the ministries and follow up action on them.
- Implementation of criteria based programs of Hon. Members
- Action on capital expenditure work making direct contacts with the Financial Commission on behalf of the Provincial Council
- Guiding the Ministries to prepare their annual action plans.
